These three—intelligent, original musicians and devoted educators—come together to perform the music of their newest release as Trio Linguae.

Black is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and if he isn’t already, he should be a Canadian national treasure. Woods’ trumpet sings sultry shines bright; he plays with the finest musicians in the NW and is the put-it-on-the-map chair of the Jazz Program at WWU. “In the age of mediocrity and clones, John Stowell’s uniqueness and originality are a breath of fresh air. I love playing with him,” says Paul Horn.
