Education Program

Combo Classes

Jazz Center students are mentored by professional Northwest jazz musicians in a combo setting. Classes meet every Monday for two hours from the beginning of October through the end of June. Much more than just creating excellent musicians, this type of study fosters in students a high level of discipline and creative thinking.

Summer Jazz Camp

A 5-day jazz performance intensive for students high school age and older. Instructors are professional jazz musicians. Students rehearse in a combo setting and receive instruction in jazz theory, improvisation, small group performance, and jazz history. Find out more on the Education page.
